Assessment of Democracy in Ukraine (2021)
National face-to-face opinion poll representative of the population in government-controlled territories of Ukraine

Description
The survey was conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation in cooperation with the Razumkov Center sociological service from July 29 to August 4, 2021.
The survey includes questions about Ukrainians' assessment of the direction of Ukraine's development; Ukrainians' assessment of the transformations that have taken place in Ukraine in various spheres of social life over the 30 years of independence; attitudes toward democracy, “strong leaders,” and the assessment of Ukraine's democracy.
The survey was conducted in all regions of Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. 2019 respondents aged 18 and older were interviewed. The theoretical sampling error does not exceed 2.3%.
This data collection contains the original survey data. The SPSS file (.sav) is the original file. It has been exported into an Excel file. The content of the respective xlsx-file is identical with the original sav-file. The sav-file contains the questions and answer options of the original questionnaire in Ukrainian. An English translation of the original questionnaire is also included in this data collection as separate pdf-file. The data collection also contains a Selected Results file in English with the data on democracy described as a part of a bigger survey dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine (https://cutt.ly/qewDtJTz).
